How Does Todorov's Theory Apply To Our Music Video?

After completing our analysis on the lyrics and finding ideas which then lead us to create the storyboard I have come to the conclusion that Todorov's theory of how narrative works within music video's applies to our music video. This is because although it starts with only having a state of equilibrium for a short while the disruption stage happens when disorder is created. So we are introduced to the characters when we can see there is an unsettle in their relationship because of how they act around each other when she decides that they need to break up for the last time; this is the 'disruption'. In the classroom and especially the bedroom scene the disequilibrium (disorder) begins. This is because she feels like people in the class are talking about her and her relationship as well as him letting her down with a text. The female character seems to be telling herself that she doesn't want to get back with her boyfriend but isn't fully sure when she gets to stage 4 where she 'tries to solve the problem' this is when she realises that it must just be about her and no longer him. This is when the scene's where he is involved stop and the shots of her being independent on her own in the studio become more frequent. She is now back to the beginning stage of equilibrium where there has been closure and the narrative ends.
